Follow a Step By Step Goal Setting Plan
Some people set goals for themselves while others would like to accomplish something but really haven’t got the ambition or are not organized enough to set goals for themselves and go for what they want. They just put it into the too hard basket and forget about it.
To set goals for yourself is a great way to reach your desired goal in a much shorter time than if you just plot along and expect to get to where you want to one day in the distant future. Goal setting is actually quite easy, it is just like organizing yourself and make a personal plan of what it is you want to accomplish within a certain time frame.
Follow a step by step goal setting plan
You need to start your goal setting plan and decide on your long time goal. Then the first thing you do is to write down what large scale goals you want to aim for. These big goals need to be broken down to much smaller achievable goals. That way it will seem much easier to achieve.
As soon as you have your life time goal written down and you have a fairly good idea about where you want your life to go then it will be a lot easier to achieve your lifetime goal if you cut it into smaller sections. Start with where you want to be in 5 years from now and what can you do in the following year to be a bit closer to the goal you set for yourself in the beginning of the year.
After taken these first steps you can cut your goals into even smaller and easily achievable goals. Divide the year into 6 or 12 parts and write down what you want to do each month so you can complete your one year goal.
When you write your goals down you are activating a very powerful process which is so compelling that it draws all your ambitions in and inspire you. Put your written goals on the wall where you can easily see them and keep an eye on how far you have come.
