Radiography
Process
The objects are x-rayed using a special camera, the camera produces a negative which is developed into film in a dark room similar to one used in a camera shop. When the film is produced it is then viewed enabling the technician to identify flaws and irregularities.

This type of testing is generally used on items such as:Boiler tubing,Steam piping,Pressure vessel welds,Castings and forgings, and small components.

This type of inspection can be performed on most materials.
